My Perfect Cookie was created out of necessity. I could not roll a perfect cookie dough log. I struggled with parchment paper and a straight-edge to pull and shape the log. Once I managed a log-like shape, it would flatten on one side while in the refrigerator.  You know what I mean!  I tried chilling the log in an empty paper towel tube, which worked but I never had enough tubes. Frankly, it did not look good...the log or the paper towel tubes in my refrigerator. I was worried about food odours in the refrigerator transferring to the cookie dough.  Although my friends thought my cookies tasted great and looked "homemade", I knew it was not a compliment. I was not satisfied. I needed a tool to make My Perfect Cookie.

After many visits to plastics manufacturing plants, My Perfect Cookie was born. It is proudly designed and manufactured in Canada.

Why Cookie Dough Logs?

Cookie dough logs are great for making ahead and storing in the refrigerator or freezer.  Bake the cookies from one log today and store the second in the freezer. Better yet, chill the dough, slice the cookies and return into the storage tube before freezing.  Whenever you need a freshly baked treat, take a few sliced cookies from the freezer and bake from frozen.  Add a minute or two to the baking time.

My Perfect Cookie cookies will be perfectly round and can be sliced thin or thick...depending on the recipe or personal preference.

A decorative sugar edge around the cookies can easily be created by rolling the dough log over coarse sugars, coloured sugars, sprinkles, crushed candy, or nuts before slicing.  Each sliced cookie will be perfectly dressed.

Shaper tube is 11" (28 cm) in length, 1.75" (4.45 cm) in diameter.
Storage tube is 11.8" (30 cm) in length, 2" (5 cm) in diameter.
